Through this time of social distancing. I have not been performing out with bands very often at all. It has been a good time to learn new skills. I've been learning how to produce more music at home. It's been a good time to learn how to make music with different tools. I recently discovered the Roland SP404 which is a very beloved and simplified sampler and drum machine. It is a fun process to discover and create simple rhythms with this machine.
There is something "not perfect" but immediate about it which is inspiring.
